Richard K. Jones
rkjones@mppkj.comRick Jones is a former certified public accountant (now inactive), former attorney with District Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, and for over twenty years has been in private practice with the Firm concentrating on corporate matters, complex commercial transactions and litigation, trust and estates and admiralty law.
Mr. Jones is a Past President of the Federal Bar Association, Jacksonville Chapter, a former director of the Southeastern Admiralty law Institute, a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and the Propeller Club of Jacksonville. He is active in the local community having served as President of the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library, Inc. and as Chairman of the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation, Inc.
Mr. Jones received his B.S. in accounting (cum laude) and J.D. (with honors) from Florida State University, in 1976 and 1982 respectively.
